In the immediate vicinity is the woodland and pasture of the Homend Park which, when combined with the network of local footpaths, creates the ideal environment for those seeking a quiet and tranquil holiday with strolls in the unspoilt countryside.
A short journey away you will find the Cathedral Cities of Hereford and Worcester, or the market towns of Ledbury, Bromyard, Leominster or Ludlow.
Visitors can also savour the different but distinctive charms of the village of north Herefordshire and the Cotswold's, walk on the nearby Malvern Hills or explore the Forest of Dean - an area steeped in history.
For those who prefer to be entertained, there is the famous Mappa Mundi Centre and Hereford Cathedral, Bulmer's Cider and City Museums, Eastnor Castle near Ledbury and the Falconry Centre at Newent. You will find theatres in Hereford, Malvern, Worcester and Ledbury. Slightly further away will be found Offa's Dyke and also the castles of the Welsh Marches set in magnificent mountainous scenery.
